Job Description

Responsibilities
The NBCU News Group Strategy & Business Development team works closely with our business unit leaders and senior management to facilitate decision making through strategic and financial analysis as well as through day-to-day negotiations with key partners. Driving projects from concept stage to conclusion, the team contributes directly to the operational excellence across our business, as well as to the development and implementation of the News Group's growth strategy. This role reports into the Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Development of the News Group.

KEY Responsibilities:
include but are not limited to:
• Working closely with News Group management to lead and execute BD projects – these can range from equity investments to partnerships, strategic initiatives to project implementation
• Working closely with internal NBCU and Comcast stakeholders and business units to evaluate both organic and inorganic opportunities
• Leading stakeholder teams for deal execution with active involvement and leadership in all major commercial negotiations
• Driving collaboration and building strong relationships within the company
• Creating and/or giving guidance for executive presentations to clearly communicate analysis, findings, and recommendations
• Reviewing analytical growth models to support greenlighting investment decisions
• Representing NBCU News Group in the external market – actively network to build strong relationships and have full understanding of the competitive landscape

Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, strategic planning, and/or business development ideally in the entertainment or media technology industries
• Superior strategic, financial and relationship building skills
• Demonstrable experience working on investments and partnership transactions
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, including significant modelling experience

• Excellent communicator (both written and verbal) with strong interpersonal skills; confident in communication with senior management
• Interest and expertise in digital technologies
• Verifiable success in building or contributing to high-performance teams
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and strong team player enabling easy integration into a fast-moving, hard-working team
• MBA preferred
