Responsibilities

What you'll do:

CNBC is building a new team for an all-business and markets-focused program, launching this January, and airing weekdays at 7pm ET. In this newscast, you will be an integral part of covering the most significant financial news stories of the day.

CNBC is looking for an experienced Tape Producer.

Responsibilities:
• Straight cut video and work with editors on cutting compelling video.
• Assist producers with desktop editing.
• Gather elements.
• View all video and ensure quality before air.
• Explain edit instructions in detail on script.
• Pitch story ideas (day-of, next day, futures).

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Must have at least 5 years' production experience.
• Must be proficient with Desktop editing.
• Proficient editing with Avid.
• Ability to enterprise, research and plan stories.

Additional Requirements:
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.
