Responsibilities
PLEASE NOTE: This is a short term position with an estimated duration of 24 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

What you'll do:
As a Producer, you will work directly with the Anchors, Executive Producer, Senior Producers, and Associate Producers to create original news content, for broadcast and digital platforms.
• Responsible for overseeing all aspects of production of taped pieces for ''The News with Shepard Smith,'' including writing, editing video and sound, booking interviews, and creating graphics on a daily basis
• Produce and cut taped pieces and live shots for reporters in the field and studio
• Crash breaking news taped pieces and live shots
• Oversee and manage production team (in-house and in the field)
• Pitch and develop original story ideas

Qualifications/Requirements
What you'll bring:
• Must have at least five years of television news producing experience working in production at the network level, preferably with evening television
• Must have a Bachelor's degree
• Strong journalistic writing skills, research skills, and editorial judgment
• Must be able to shoot and edit
• Must be proficient in social media
• Demonstrated strong knowledge and interest in world and national news and current events
