Job Description
ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll do:
CNBC Prime is looking for a passionate and driven person to join our team and to lead our social and digital marketing efforts. This person will have a vision and collaborate on a strategy for marketing the CNBC brand along with a real-time understanding of the analytics and how best to use this information.
This person will manage the output of our social handles on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok. As well as our digital channels on YouTube and the CNBC Prime pages on cnbc.com. This person will partner with other members of the marketing team in communicating the brand, our messaging, and the development and execution of a strategy.
Digital/social is critical to our channel's success and vital to our growth. Monitoring algorithm changes and new trends, tracking metrics and responding to our users with a refined voice will be key components of the job; then filtering that down to the social/digital team in an effort to execute effective clips, videos, posts, etc.
The CNBC Marketing social/digital team is responsible for creating content promoting CNBC's Prime shows including American Greed, Shark Tank, Jay Leno's Garage and a slate of new shows debuting in 2022.
The ideal candidate will have experience in this arena, a collaborative mindset and passion and curiosity for all things digital/social.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• 5 years of social media experience
• Previous experience with monitoring social media channels and driving social media strategy
Duties and responsibilities:
• Lead CNBC Prime social/digital marketing team.
• Develop social/digital strategy for CNBC Prime to drive awareness and trial of CNBC primetime programming.
• Determine optimal posting schedule across social media platforms.
• Create and maintain CNBC primetime show pages to drive interest and engagement among fans.
• Generate weekly newsletters for CNBC Prime
• Monitor metrics across all platforms and adjust strategies and tactics as appropriate.
• Drive subscriber/follower growth
• Manage community engagement across social media channels.
• Collaborate with colleagues on the Marketing, Communications and Entertainment Production teams.
• Stay current on all trends and algorithm changes that impact the brand's visibility and engagement.
