Job Description
Responsibilities:
CNBC Digital Video is looking for a business-news obsessed lead producer for its News and Programming team. The role requires overseeing the creation and curation of CNBC.com video content on the most important business, markets and political stories of the day.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, disciplined and tech-savvy producer who can craft smart headlines, work under tight deadlines, and collaborate across several different departments at CNBC. The lead producer's main responsibilities will be identifying compelling video excerpts from our broadcast, proof-reading and publishing video clips from CNBC. This producer will also assign and review scripts for quickturn videos, and program relevant video across CNBC.com platforms, including in articles, playlists and landing pages. The lead producer will also be asked to clip from CNBC's broadcast when needed, to help the Supervising Producer maintain the team's clipping schedule, and to script and produce their own original videos for breaking news stories.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Work on daily assignments at direction of the Supervising Producer of News and Programming
• Help organize and oversee the News and Programming team's daily clipping operations
• Assist producers and senior producers on long-term projects
• Select the most newsworthy soundbites from broadcast interviews and news segments
• Craft compelling and accurate headlines and descriptions for videos appearing on CNBC.com and other platforms
• Optimize video clips for SEO, metadata tracking and distribution partners
• Pitch, produce and edit original digital videos, for both daily quick-turns and for our longform news explainer franchise ''The Bigger Picture''

Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications/ Requirements:
• At least 7+ years of experience working in a fast-paced digital or TV newsroom.
• Strong writing skills and news judgment
• The ability to work under tight deadline pressures
• The ability to work early morning/late nights during busy news cycles and/or weekends depending on breaking news
• Experience at handling C300, Sony FS7 and other high-level professional equipment.
• Expert knowledge of the Adobe Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop
• Expert experience with digital/broadcast publishing workflows (CMS, WildMoka, Wirecast, iNews, etc.)

Additional Requirements:
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
