Job Description

Responsibilities
CNBC is looking for a creative editor to join our newly launched digital subscription with Jim Cramer. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in stocks and investing and can generate smart ideas for coverage. This editor will love helping to build out a new site with features and franchises – all aimed to helping our Club subscribers become better investors.

What you'll do:
• Help oversee daily coverage of stocks, markets and investing stories
• Edit and publish investing stories
• Work with Investing Club reporters and editors – along with the portfolio director and portfolio analyst – to generate fresh ideas for the site
• Be part of a fast-moving newsroom environment

Qualifications/Requirements
What you'll bring:
• At least 2 years of editing experience at a major news publication
• An ability to edit breaking news copy for style and sense, often under tight deadlines
• Top-notch organizational and time-management skills
• Sharp news judgment. We want news hawks for this role
• An understanding of business and financial news
• Experience collaborating with multiple players and working with a team

Additional requirements:
