The Director, Lifecycle Marketing and Engagement, will aid in driving Cinedigm's content strategy direction of acquiring high-value customers for Cinedigm's streaming channels with high visibility to senior stakeholders. The Director, Lifecycle Marketing and Engagement will support in developing and implementing the on-channel marketing strategy and vision for the Cinedigm platforms. This role will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing highly curated campaigns for consumers, and will work cross-functionally to ensure that acquisition efforts are operating at high efficiency and reaching performance goals. The ideal candidate is an analytical and strategic thinker with close attention to detail and can think creatively.

Key Duties:
• Create, implement and manage cross-functional campaigns to support each Cinedigm channel objectives.
• Influence and contribute to an editorial vision and strategy for Cinedigm that drives growth and engagement - with a focus on marketing landing pages, lifecycle campaigns, and email newsletters.
• Partner with the Art Department team to create compelling collateral materials to expand, build and retain the audience of our streaming channels.
• With the Programming Team, oversee the strategy of scalable targeting to different audience segments to ensure that subscribers are driven to the right content at the right time across streaming channels.
• Establish a deep understanding of Cinedigm's users to inform audience-first, data-driven segmentation strategies that drive OKRs, including subscriber growth and customer lifetime value.
• Support the Programming team's strategy on the Cinedigm channel sites and landing pages, including planning and prioritization of curatorial efforts, liaison with sub-brands, and the programming calendar; test and optimize campaigns across the customer lifecycle, content calendar, and seasonal holidays.
• Create email newsletters and push notifications using data-driven inputs and business priorities.
• Select titles for acquisition and partnership campaigns based on Cinedigm content that come to life through copywriting and design; Develop seasonal marketing campaigns for owned and paid channels that are cohesive across all assets based on marketing briefs and objectives.
• Possess stellar presentation skills which clearly communicate marketing strategy and campaign ideas both internally and externally.
• Verify and ensure that all editorial content upholds the respective Cinedigm brands and product strategy.
• Provide customer insights and analyses to drive the development of KPIs as they relate to content curation and editorial strategy, as well as partnering with the data analytics team to understand how our audience engages with content/genres.
• Develop, research, and analyze new strategies to increase content consumption and drive interest, and identify and apply competitive and industry key learnings and trends.

Essential Qualifications:
• This opportunity requires 5 years of experience in digital editorial products specific to user engagement, marketing and streaming, or related experience at a video streaming entertainment media company.
• Possesses a deep understanding of the video streaming industry as well as the data-driven personalization space and is a champion for the consumer.
• Prior experience and success in setting the strategic context and helping develop creative briefs.
• Robust experience in content editorial or marketing, preferably in streaming, across all devices and operating systems.
• Knowledge of competitive landscape including AVOD/SVOD and OTT services.
• Developed creative taste and a strong instinct for stories and experiences that will capture and retain consumers.
• Ability to actively engage in strategic conversations with social insights and community perspectives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to drive overall marketing strategies from forecasting, budgeting, prioritization, campaign execution, and optimization.
• Self-motivated and accountable with executive-level presence.
• Ability to adapt rapidly in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities; candidates must create their own direction yet balance cross-functional teams' needs, reacting quickly, dynamically, and intelligently.
• Prior experience working on performance-oriented channels such as Facebook, Google, Twitter, etc.
• Work with and lead a team of channel managers and media buyers to drive execution of subscriber acquisition for Cinedigm's streaming channels.
• Has a natural passion for entertainment, a deep understanding of internet culture, and a competence for spotting and steering great storytelling in the digital space.
• Effectively respond to cultural and consumer trends, as well as shifts in our business needs.
• Successfully executes against a vision via small, medium, and long-term projects.
