Accounts Payable Specialist (Temp to Full Time)

Cinedigm is looking for a Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist to work with our Finance team. The position will support the Accounts Payable Manager and the EVP, Finance and Accounting, carrying out the responsibilities and goals for the Accounting Department with a direct focus in the Accounts Payable accounting functions. The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys collaborating with their peers and bringing passion and pride to their work. This is a 90-day temp-to-hire position with the potential of going full-time.

Key Duties:
• Input invoices and payment requests into the AP software for multiple entities.
• Gathers general ledger coding for proper coding of invoices.
• Save incoming invoices and accompanying documentation for accuracy and proper authorization/approval.
• Review expense reports and receipts ensuring proper authorization/approval and company T&E policy is followed.
• Maintain current W-9's on all current and new vendors.
• Handle vendor calls and inquiries; identify and communicate issues to ensure the timeliness of payments.
• Diligently follow up on all tasks and projects, whether performed directly or by other accounting staff.
• Take on special projects as directed.

Minimum Requirements:
• Minimum 1+ years of accounts payable experience preferred
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and communication skills
• Highly motivated, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
