Compensation and Benefits include: Base Salary ($60,000 - $75,000/year depending on experience) and eligibility for Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) Plan, Life Insurance Coverage, Disability Benefits, Tuition Assistance Program, PTO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Candidate will be stationed in our Frisco, CO office.

- Report live and on tape, scripted and unscripted, with clarity, accuracy and confidence/Cover breaking news with a sense of urgency.

- Work with a wide range of personnel to build compelling content/ Develop and execute enterprise content on a consistent basis

- Maintain a steadfast dedication to accuracy and fairness.

- Write clearly and interestingly. Use video and graphics to illustrate facts and ideas in the story/shoot, write and edit packages for daily newscasts.

- Strong live shot skills.

- Generate story ideas and participate in editorial meetings/Produce content for Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites

- Appear at public and station events, as required/Establish and manage relationships/sources in the community

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum three years' experience on air, preferably in a top 20 market

Must be able to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and have the ability to tackle problems quickly

Must have a very strong social media skills and able to contribute on all platforms

Must be able to work different schedules including nights, holidays & ON CALL shifts

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

COLLEGE DEGREE OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
