WJZ-TV is seeking a seasoned Meteorologist to join our award winning weather team. Main shift will be on weekends.

Analyze weather data and synthesize the information into clear, easy to understand weather forecasts. Produce clean, creative and informational graphics that accurately support the weather story. Work as part of a team with other meteorologists and weathercasters. Present weathercasts from both studio and in the field with our Mobile Weather Lab. Required to be a clear communicator and pass valuable information on to all shifts.

Qualifications:

Minimum of five years of experience on-air as a Broadcast Meteorologist. Proven ability to post forecasts, graphics, etc. to various digital media platforms. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and fill-in when necessary. Experience with Barons Lynx and WSI Weather Technology.

Education:

Bachelor's degree, in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science, is required
