DESCRIPTION:

WBZ is looking for an Executive Producer to lead the team on CBSBoston's live streaming network. The Executive Producer will oversee a group of Digital Line Producers and Associate Digital Line Producers.

The right Executive Producer we are looking for will be a leader that is dependable and has a vision of how to get content to where viewers and readers are consuming content across platforms. This person will report to the News Director.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to:
• Making decisions on coverage and rundown orders.
• Copy editing scripts from producers and reporters.
• Managing and building plan to achieve streaming goals set by upper management.
• Work closely with broadcast managers to exchange content.
• Working with WBZ partners on special event coverage

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required skills/qualifications:
• 5+ years in leadership or management role.
• Ability to train and guide digital line and associate producers.
• Ability to work under extremely tight deadlines and manage expectations for streaming service.
• Thorough knowledge of social media and the competitive digital news environment.
• Familiarity with Avid editing systems and ENPS and iNews.
• Available for early mornings, nights, overnights, weekends, holidays; this is a 24-hour streaming service.
• Experience with Crispin and iNews.
• Understanding of SEO.
