Working with a ViacomCBS property the ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, excellent news judgment and advanced storytelling abilities.

Responsibilities include writing content, headlines and teases for the broadcast, identify story placement in the rundown, create graphics and identify production elements required to produce a newscast.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years' experience writing for a television news outlet in a medium or large market preferred.
- Bachelor's or technical degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field preferred.
- Must be results-oriented, innovative, self-directed and self motivated while meeting deadlines. Willing to a flexible work schedule.
- Excellent communication skills required.
