Responsibilities:
• Write content for on air/online/social platforms
• Light editing of VO's, VOSOTS for multiple platforms, compelling, impactful packages for broadcast/digital using non-linear systems such as Grass Valley
• Self-starter, with a keen insight for the power of visuals, natural sound, and memorable writing
• Manage and create impactful storytelling, work independently, and have excellent communication skills
• Creative and collaborative ability to advance station mission

Preferred Education, Experience, and Certification Requirements:
• Bachelor's or technical degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field preferred
• Proven experience writing and editing for broadcast/digital news at the collegiate level or above
• Willing to work a varied work schedule
• Experience with INews a plus
• Experience with Grass Valley/Edius editing systems
• Must be driven by results, innovative, self-directed, and work independently while meeting deadlines
