Freelance Editor, Soccer

CBS Sports, a year-round leader in television sports, broadcasts a portfolio of events on the CBS Television Network, including ''NFL ON CBS;'' college football, including the ''SEC ON CBS;'' college basketball, including the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship; golf, including The Masters®, PGA Championship and PGA TOUR; and ''CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR.''

In addition, the division includes CBS SPORTS NETWORK, the 24-hour home of CBS Sports, and produces ''INSIDE THE NFL'' for SHOWTIME. CBS Sports Digital's multi-platform offerings include CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports apps for mobile and connected TV devices; streaming sports news network CBS Sports HQ; 247Sports; MaxPreps; CBS Sports fantasy games; and SportsLine.

CBS Sports is looking for a main Editor who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment to manage coverage of soccer in a post-production setting, a sport which we are growing quickly. We want somebody who has a deep knowledge of all levels of the game, working on editing packages and managing content, specifically focused to Serie A, for CBS Sports and Paramount+. This position has the opportuntity to be remote as well.

Responsibilities:
• Lead Editor on all visual elements that would feature in our presentation of Serie A
• Edit, manage and conceive original visual content for our presentation of Serie A
• Media Managing content, organizing footage
• Provide non-linear editing support to the production team and studio show

Qualifications:
• Proficient on Adobe and Avid
• Experience working with Content Management Systems
• A strong portfolio of prior work in a sports editing/visual storytelling
• Experience working with Photoshop, After Effects
• Must be aware of soccer landscape, editorially
• Excellent communication
• Well versed in all post-production workflows and final delivery of pieces
• Able to deliver a unique, high quality final product under tight deadlines and turnarounds

Education & Experience:
• Must have 4+ years of experience in sports industry as an Editor (speaking Spanish/Italian a plus)
• College degree or equivalent experience
• Experience working within the setting of a live studio show is encouraged
