Manager Of Pricing and Planning, Cable Entertainment Group

Job Description

The Manager of Pricing and Planning will work closely with/support the group's Vice President and Senior Director to help develop and implement pricing and sales strategy for 5 diverse cable channels and Vantage. The Manager will also help manage a team of 5 sales planners.

Responsibilities:
• Day to day maintenance of all plan building, including checking and double-checking plans to ensure accuracy prior to approval and submission to sales
• Train and help to oversee Sales Planners
• Work internally with Sales to resolve various pricing challenges and discrepancies
• Price and analyze upfront & scatter plans
• Create and maintain reports and charts to help facilitate efficiencies across the team.
• Assist and manage complicated plan building and allocations, as needed

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years network pricing & planning experience, or media buying and/or sales experience

Additional Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Proven ability to think strategically
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels across various departments
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Strong Excel skills
