Hiring Salary Range: $64,800.00 - $81,000.00

CBS Reports is seeking a Video Editor to help create and craft documentaries, promos, or other content for CBS News Streaming and its various CBS Reports documentary series!

Your Day-to-Day:
• Edit videos combining raw footage and audio, photo stills, graphics, archival video, etc.
• Collaborate on crafting the narrative of long and occasionally short form documentary stories
• Work with producers and supervisors on revisions through delivery
• Address creative and technical notes from colleagues, including executive management, through delivery
• Deliver a finished video or elements for various platforms and distribution needs
• Help troubleshoot technical issues
• Pitch and assist with creative ideas for the individual series and overall unit

What you bring to the team:
• 7+ years experience as a video editor
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro
• Familiarity with a fast-paced post-production environment
• You might also have video editing experience at a News organization

Hiring Salary Range: $64,800.00 - $81,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
