Job Description
CBS Studios is seeking a Music Clearance Administrator who will be responsible for all phases of music clearance on assigned shows and /or marketing promotional use on all CBS platforms. If this sounds like you come join us!
Responsibilites
• Research publishing and master recording administration/ownership
• Fill requests, and negotiate license fees within time constraints, budgets and company policy
• Review cue sheets for accuracy identifying potential copyright claims,
• Balance Show, Studio, Marketing and Network requirements
Qualifications
• 3+ years music clearance experience; television studio, production company, major music label or publisher experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with copyright law including public domain, derivative works, and infringement
• Ability to communicate and form close relationships with executive producer, publishers, record company executives, attorneys and other industry professionals
• A love of music and entertainment is a huge plus!
