DESCRIPTION:

Division Overview:
Our Video Operations team is responsible for supporting the architecture and delivery of VOD and Live content streamed across over 15 platforms! Video Quality Assurance is a highly important aspect of the team's success as it requires collaboration amongst multiple teams to deliver the best possible product.

Role Details:
Our team is looking for a Video Quality Assurance Analyst that will be responsible for video testing across multiple platforms and projects, including regression testing, smoke testing, and ad hoc testing. The ideal candidate is experienced with agile scrum methodology and can be an active participant in all scrum rituals. This role requires going beyond running test cases, as the Video QA Analyst will ensure the requirements of our team are being met.

Your Day-to-Day:
• Testing Video player on new builds
• Testing builds on various hardware to ensure stability
• Testing advertisements for live TV
• Testing newly acquired assets such as shows and movies
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams
• Supporting QA efforts of Live events: Poker, Soccer, Hockey, or Football
• Supporting season releases such as: Picard or Star Trek: Discovery
• Investigating bugs reported by customer service

Key Projects:
• New features and improved Nex Gen Live TV schedule
• Testing builds and streams for Superbowl
• Testing assets for CBS Rebranding into Paramount
• Testing apps and state of the art new features
• Supporting International Teams

QUALIFICATIONS:

What you bring to the team:

You have -
• Computer Science Bachelor's level degree, QA tester certificate, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of video streaming QA experience. VOD and Live TV
• Highly experienced with JIRA or other bug ticketing software
• Active experience with Agile scrum methodology
• Knowledgeable of network traffic software such as Charles
• Very high attention to detail
• Ability to balance multiple tasks
• Desire to learn the backend process of video delivery

• Knowledge of MPX The Platform content management system
