Role Details:
This position is responsible for managing, prospecting and driving a book of business and providing tactical sales support for assigned high value accounts.
Your Day-to-Day:
• Manage a book of assigned accounts and sales quota, which is expected to increase over time
• Generate new sales leads and business opportunities
• Build media plans for new business opportunities and work with Account Management to develop media plans for existing business
• Collaborate with Management to set and own territory sales agenda and develop account / territory strategies for long-term development and revenue growth
• Update SalesForce with new client contacts, sales calls, opportunities and status for assigned book of business
• Update and manage revenue forecasting for assigned book of business
• Secure IOs / deals from clients for assigned book of business
• Enter booked business into Operative for smaller deals and coordinate with Account Management team for larger deals over $100k
• Assist Account Management in billing reconciliation
• Clearly and consistently communicate deadlines and request creative assets from clients
• Work with Account Management and Client Services to get updates on campaign status and track delivery; manage client communication regarding campaign status
• Act as a business specialist and tactical support to high value accounts as needed (e.g., provide strategic digital and mixed media solutions, prepare meeting briefs and gather research for a meetings and presentations)
• Pull and coordinate research and assets needed for proposals for high value accounts, coordinating with integrated marketing as necessary
• Work with senior Account Executives to strategize, pitch and close new opportunities
• Coordinate delivery of client reporting and presentations (e.g., wrap reports, quarterly business reviews) on an as-needed basis
• Manage RFP flow and distribution and ensure tracking in Salesforce
QUALIFICATIONS:
What you bring to the team:
You have -
• 2-3 years experience in an account management, planner or junior sales role
• Working knowledge of publisher/network systems and workflows (e.g. Salesforce, Operative, DFP).
• Thrives in a team, goal-oriented environment.
• Have a strong desire to win and grow as digital ad sales professional.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• BS/BA degree, or equivalent training and experience
• Must be extremely detail oriented
• Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
