Job Description
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team!
The Project Manager, Resource Management will work closely with Human Resources and our business partners to lead the planning of resources including headcount management, vendor relationships, and troubleshooting/identifying solutions for HR related processes and workflows. This individual will act as a liaison between the business, Talent Acquisition and Human Resources to ensure the success of onboarding and hiring objectives. A successful candidate has several years in a technology-first environment, has an agile mentality and builds a culture of continuous operational improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Talent Acquisition Partner and Vendor Management
• Lead the relationship and management with our internal Talent Acquisition team and external staffing vendors, which includes owning communication to top execs & HR, providing status updates, crafting and owning SOWs and invoicing.
• Headcount Planning Management and Process Improvement
• Collaborate with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Finance and the business to track and analyze resource planning based on business needs; Adjust/re-allocate resources when necessary.
• Build reporting dashboards and files for executives, and communicate the status of resource planning in Jira, google sheets or other tools as the need arises
• Suggest and implement process improvements related to headcount management
• Onboarding & HR Processes
• Partner with the Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, IT and the business to onboard new hires so that our new hires are set-up for success from day one
• Troubleshoot issues with start dates and redirect managers to appropriate contacts
• Become the specialist on all internal HR team processes and partners, identify and resolve process issues as they arise
• Lead special projects as needed
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Finance/Business) or equivalent trade experience.
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
Experience managing vendors from establishing the relationships through to running the contractual workflow.
Proficient in Google spreadsheets and Microsoft Excel, with ability to build pivot tables and other useful reporting analytics upon request.
Budget and financial cost analysis experience especially pertaining to resource management.
Able to pull together a Google Presentation/Powerpoint Deck to share strategic decisions or directions for key partners.
Additional Qualifications:
A proactive, meticulous, and inventive communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to thrive in a creative and collaborative environment.
Experience with Engineering/Technology resource Vendor relations.
Reporting and task management experience with project management tools such as Jira Portfolio and Asana
Previous work as a project manager or scrum master in an agile environment
Jira Project Administration certification
