ViacomCBS is seeking an Associate Compensation Analyst to assist with the development, implementation and administration of ViacomCBS's compensation policies, programs and guidelines. Responsibilities:

Supporting the Compensation team, the Associate Compensation Analyst will assist in evaluating positions, conducting market surveys and analyzing statistical data in order to provide recommendations to HR leaders regarding various pay decisions, policy interpretation and appropriate job leveling across the organization. This role will have a fantastic opportunity to work within a newly built job architecture, demonstrating proficiencies and job levels to ensure all job descriptions and pay ranges fit within our model.
• Help create comprehensive compensation reviews for client groups; analyze internal and external job data to provide direction on levels, salary ranges and variable pay targets for new and existing jobs, market adjustments, promotions and contract renewals
• Assist with the administration of the annual merit process, bonus and long-term incentive program
• Participate in compensation salary surveys and ensure compensation remains competitive to attract, retain and motivate employees
• Participate in a variety of HR and compensation related projects, including ad-hoc studies, projects and analysis
• Assist in the maintenance of data quality/integrity within the HR system of record; liaise with internal partners to coordinate processing of mass job or pay changes
• Work closely with department peers to ensure all client groups are correctly supported

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience with a focus on HR, HRIS, Compensation,
• Finance or related fields
• Ability to conduct research, analyze different types of data and present findings in a clear, concise format

Additional Qualifications:
• Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency with other MS Office programs
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Strong quantitative skills and ability to think critically
• Ability to work independently
• Teammate with ability to ''flex'' to different styles and ability to work collaboratively with department colleagues
• Ability to prioritize project deadlines together with day-to-day requirements while maintaining work product excellence and high-levels of customer service
• Ability to handle sensitive information, maintain confidentiality and address sensitive situations in a constructive manner
