Job Description
Senior Executive, Social Digital Marketing (Kids & Reality), INSEAK

Purpose of the role

In this role, you will support social and digital marketing strategy and campaigns across related brands/franchises such as Discovery Channel, TLC, Asian Food Network, Cartoon Network, Looney Tunes etc, in the INSEAK region (India, South Korea, Southeast Asia, HK & Taiwan). Reporting to the Social and Digital Marketing Lead – Kids (INSEAK), you will work cross-functionally with internal teams such as PR, Brand Marketing, Programming, Franchise Management, etc to drive social and digital go-to-market activations, laddering up to our business goals. You'll be responsible for rolling out campaigns, end-to-end – from ideation, assets creation, content development, execution, day-to-day operations (social handles, websites), community management, reporting and overall project management.

Key Accountabilities

Building Fan Communities on Social/Digital (30%):
• Build brand affinity with core audiences and grow our fanbase across social/digital channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc) in INSEAK for our Reality brands, eg: Discovery, TLC, Asian Food Network and more.
• Establish monthly content calendar and ride on relevant moments and trends to keep audience engaged and bring in new audiences.
• Extend communities beyond owned and operated channels by partnering with like-minded brands.

Social/Digital Marketing Campaigns (25%):
• Support team lead on social/digital marketing plans for key launches and oversee implementation of all campaigns across INSEAK.
• Partner with media buying agencies and creative teams to deliver top notch social/digital marketing campaigns that drive top of the funnel consumer awareness and fan engagement.
• Produce clear briefs for internal and external stakeholders, to ensure timely and sufficient support for campaigns.
• Manage workstream with internal stakeholders – producers, creative services, etc. – to ensure timely delivery of assets and external stakeholders – media agencies, creative agencies, etc.- to ensure timeliness of launch and post-campaign reporting.

Digital Marketing and Management (20%):
• Manage product design, development, and monthly maintenance as part of scaled touchpoints across marketing.
• Responsible for driving traffic to digital products and ensuring smooth user experience for audience.
• Digital products include, websites, interactive experiences (eg. Web-based/mobile-based games), other platform agnostic interactive applications, etc.

Community Management (15%):
• Day-to-day active community management of our social media accounts
• Act as the voice of our brand and engage and build relationships with our audiences through community management on our social handles.

Social/Digital Marketing Strategy & Planning (10%): – Supporting team lead to build out social/digital plans and infrastructure to support and drive those goals
• Support team lead in building out strategic plans across key social/digital platforms in INSEAK for our business.
• Manage strategic partnerships with key digital/social media influencers and platforms to deliver against your goals and for ongoing campaign implementation.

Areas of Accountability

Geographical scope:
• Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam)
• Hong Kong & Taiwan
• South Korea
• India (in partnership with local team)

Job Requirements
• Degree or equivalent experience in digital and social media marketing (4-6 years of experience)
• Ability to work cross functionally in a highly matrixed environment across global and regional/local teams
• Experience in developing direct-to-consumer marketing plans and engaging audiences on social/digital platforms, including community management
• Experience in working with creative production agencies as well as media buying agencies on paid media campaigns
• Experience in data analytics as it relates to digital and performance marketing
• Experience in using CMS platforms and marketing automation solutions
• Broad knowledge and experience in SEO, SEM, website management

Desirable:
• Fluent in a second language besides English
• Experience in media/technology industries
• General knowledge of creative development and design for management of agencies and collaboration with internal creative teams
