Seeking an exceptional and innovative coordinator to provide marketing and administrative support to the Marketing department for Capitol Music Group.

How you'll CREATE:
• Provide marketing support to Marketing Directors across all record labels under Capitol Music Group
• Gather all tools and assets for upcoming releases; have them uploaded to appropriate UMG databases
• Create budgets and POs and process all department invoices in the UMG Uniport system
• Create sales reports and marketing updates; utilize sales and chart info to make comprehensive sales analysis
• Liaise with domestic and international production departments to ensure all scheduling is in place
• Help create international promotional schedules for artists and liaise with international affiliates
• Review and get artist manager approvals for all international licensing and synch requests
• Book domestic and international travel for artists and employees
• Liaise with artist managers and international territories on various requests
• Setup, coordinate and execute telephone interviews for artists with international media
• Help in the organization of CMG International events as well as promotional events for artists
• Assist Directors with expenses
• Handle all mail-outs
• Attend all label meetings; take notes when necessary
• Setup conference calls and coordinate meetings
• Coordinate general admin requests for the marketing department
• Vevo updates including description copy / live times
• Linkfire link creation/maintenance Uniport vendor onboarding/invoices
• Suggesting engaging marketing copy on label and artist socials for approval
• Crafting and preparing social messaging calendars for approval
• Pulling analytics reporting for internal use
• Competitive digital marketing strategy research and reporting
• Coordinating conference calls and meetings
• Distributing approved marketing materials, features, and assets digitally to internal and external teams
• Adobe Photoshop, in-Design, Dreamweaver, and Final Cut software experience strongly preferred
• Assist in the creation of marketing materials (pseudo videos, banners, social assets, etc.)
• Communicating priorities to select partners (low hanging fruit like Shazam, GIPHY, etc.)
• Regularly update video metadata-YouTube channels and videos
• Communicate priorities with the team that handles labels socials to ensure proper coverage
• Assist in prepping and setting up mail newsletters for distribution around announcements and key dates
• Assist in the set-up of Lemonade campaigns (pre-saves, stream to unlock, etc.)
• Tracking Vevo slates (domestic & international)

Bring your VIBE:
• Advanced level artist relations and/or third-party distribution experience in a consumer-focused 3+ years' experience in music industry marketing
• International and domestic marketing experience preferred
• Existing relationships with labels and/or brands and existing contacts at digital platforms
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, familiarity with Soundscan, Uniport/SAP and specific digital account dashboards
• Great organizational skills with the ability to prioritize based on evolving workload
• Strong understanding of the music industry
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives
• Bilingual skills a plus
• Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with employees of our company at all levels including Senior Management
• Ability to interact comfortably and effectively with employees of companies we do business with
• Self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful
• Excellent follow-through and attention to detail

• Degree preferred or equivalent experience
