The Department
CAA's product development team is building next-generation mobile and web applications to drive the diverse, global, and high-energy entertainment culture of our agents, executives, artists, and business partners. We are looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas from all areas and backgrounds.
Positioned at the nexus of talent, content, brands, technology, sports, and live events, CAA creates limitless opportunities for the storytellers, trendsetters, icons, and thought leaders who shape popular culture. You too will help create those opportunities, such as influencing how music tours are created, movie and television shows are staffed, sports deals are designed, artists are represented, and products are endorsed. People who do well on this team are self-motivated engineers with a passion for our business and technologies. We are looking for individuals with deep knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. We currently use Typescript, Node, React, Redux, Jest, Azure SQL, and MongoDB. However, the ability to adapt to changing technology is an important strength we'd like to see in you.
Job Description
This role is right for you if:
• You understand the intricacies of JavaScript and Node.js, for both front-end apps and back-end services.
• You own and drive initiatives.
• You thrive by collaborating with multiple teams and use your communication skills to influence product direction.
• You enjoy test-driven development and believe testing is integral to developing high-quality code.
• You can work 100% remote with occasional travel to company meetings and events.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience preferred
• One or more years of coding experience
What sets you apart:
• 5+ years of related experience
• Passion for building high-impact, well-performing user experiences.
• Experience building single-page applications in JavaScript/TypeScript.Independent, proactive, and able to deliver production-ready code with minimal guidance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills working cross-functionally with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.

Location:
This is a hybrid role based out of the Los Angeles or New York City office.
Compensation:
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $125,000 - $157,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
