This position is part of CAA's highly collaborative, global CAA HR team and is focused on supporting CAA ICON, a division of CAA Sports.

Reporting to the Senior Director of HR, the HR Assistant will help support CAA ICON's growing team. This support includes, but is not limited to general administrative duties, culture-related initiatives, and is responsible for people administration via multiple systems, including Workday and the coordination of administration around the full employee life cycle. The HR Assistant is a key resource for all CAA ICON employees in North America.

Responsibilities:
• Provides administrative support to the Senior HR Director, including calendar management/coordinating the scheduling of meetings, booking travel, and expense reporting for the HR team.
• Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HRIS, auditing for accuracy and compliance, including completing and verifying Form I-9.
• Develop and execute positive employee relations initiatives; coordinate check-ins, employee engagement initiatives, workshops, etc.; foster and maintain quality relationships with all employees by interacting and being available.
• Online file maintenance and HRIS (Workday) entry ensuring proper document storage
• Manages employee recognition program and sends flowers/acknowledgements for personal employee events like the arrival of a baby or bereavement.
• Creates various types of correspondence, including employment verifications, personalized messages for birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
• Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
• Assists the Learning and Development Director with coordinating training initiatives.
• Researches, analyzes, prepares, and presents hiring statistics. Assists with tracking information for the recruitment cycle.
• Maintain various internal information resources for the Operations team and other partners. Tracks various employee events such as LOA, employee reviews, and employee completion of required training.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field (or 2+ years relevant work experience).
• 2+ years of HR assistant, HR Operation assistant, or HR Recruiting assistant experience.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Proficient with cloud-based document storage applications (SharePoint and OneDrive).
• Experience with editing documents and obtaining signatures through Adobe Acrobat DC and Adobe Sign.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills and team-oriented.
• Able to prioritize assignments, organize, and handle multiple tasks.
• Professional demeanor and possess the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Passionate about being of service, working collaboratively, and creating incredible experiences for our employees.
• Extremely proactive and able to quickly shift priorities.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $23.00 - $27. per hour. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
