Job Description

The position is an entry-level role in the HRIS group. Primary responsibilities include performing timekeeping duties to include editing and auditing functions utilizing Workday, including ensuring the accuracy of edit log entries and overseeing compliance according to established policies and guidelines to facilitate the accurate transfer of data to payroll, identifying/resolving discrepancies within a defined procedure or regulation, communicating/coaching staff regarding edit logs, pay rules, responding to staff with time, attendance and pay related questions and issues and producing/maintaining all required reports/documentation.

Incumbents are also accountable for delivering excellent customer service, demonstrating strong organizational/prioritization skills and thorough attention to detail. The work requires the application of payroll knowledge and technical expertise with respect to Workday to run and edit time entry reports.

Responsibilities
• Maintains and processes edit log entries for assigned department(s) ensuring accuracy of edits and compliance with pay practices and/or contracts
• Processes pay related corrections submitted via a Personnel Action Request (PAR); evaluates the impact to pay for each missed time entry and prepares PARs, as needed
• Provides guidance to managers to ensure consistent, concise and accurate time entries
• Performs periodic audits of data, reports, or processing/time entry functions and keeps management apprised of irregularity patterns

Requirements
• 1+ years of related work experience; Workday preferred
• BS/ BA Degree preferred
• Skill to identify inaccuracies or anomalies in the information and resolve discrepancies within a defined procedure or regulation
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Good interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
