The Role

We are seeking a Coordinator to support the Commercial Transactions & Client Services team within the Office of the Chief Legal Officer, reporting to Counsel, Commercial Transactions & Client Services. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for handling all unsolicited materials submitted to the agency and assisting the Commercial Transactions & Client Services team as needed. This is a role which includes a high volume of administrative/clerical responsibilities such as: opening all mail, scanning, uploading and tracking all mail/letters, creating response letters, and sending all materials back to senders. Other miscellaneous duties will include training new employees on submission policies and procedures, research projects, answering general email and phone call inquiries, overseeing execution of submission release forms and other agreements as requested by team members, organizing and providing requested files within the department, and departmental project/task coordination and tracking.  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:  
• Excellent written and communication skills  
• Attention to detail and sense of urgency  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office  
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred  
• 6+ months of administrative experience in a fast paced, demanding environment (preferably within the legal industry)  
• Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information.  

Location

This role is based out of the Los Angeles office; Hybrid 4 days in office, Fridays optional remote.

Compensation: The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $22.00-$23.69. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
