The Role

The Account Manager, Field Marketing will support an account within CAA's Brand Consulting department, specifically for a highly matrixed telecom and entertainment client. The role supports the Program Managers to design market-specific program strategies & goals in support of client's field marketing efforts and includes management of key performance indicators, creation and execution of multi-layered activation plans, grassroots activity, and drive-to-retail programs, quality control supervision, creation & management of activation budgets. The candidate will interface day to day with the client, and will work cross-functionally with internal / external client local, national, retail-level, field organizations, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities
• Work alongside Program Managers to develop and manage the execution of activations in various markets & manage field marketing plans and tactics.
• Ability to liaise with agencies, brand partners, vendors, event management associates as assigned by Program Manager
• Support event-specific field programs, local partnerships, drive to retail campaigns, experiential activations, and local sweepstakes / contests
• Creates, presents and executes strategic, competitive and relevant grassroots marketing & field marketing initiatives
• Works cross-functionally with PR, Social, Field, Corp Comms, etc. teams alongside client
• Strategize initiatives that positively support the client's consumer goals (i.e. base growth) across all segments that are important to the business.
• Forecast, measure and analyze impact of music programs; produce weekly reports to demonstrate campaign progress and KPI success
• Oversee all aspects of the creative development of marketing collateral, experiential assets, and event-related creative. Includes briefing designers and obtaining internal and client approvals
• Build and maintain ongoing communications with the field marketing peers and account executives
• Manage a grassroots & experiential activation budget with accountability for reporting ROI, spend and key learnings.
• Create presentations for key meetings internally and externally
• Strong relationship manager – clients, support teams, partner agencies, properties
• Educating clients and managing their needs and expectations
• Provide constant attention to detail (quality control) regarding the execution of field activity

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or related discipline
• At least 5-7 years of client interfacing in field management, as marketing manager, with grassroots, experiential marketing experience
• Deep understanding of Latinx and experiential marketing industries
• In depth understanding of current field/experiential marketing industry
• Effective management of nationwide, synchronized, high profile activations; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight timelines; ability to delegate
• Creative and strategic thinker
• Strong writing and presentation skills
• Project management and team-leading abilities, from strategy to execution to fulfillment
• Self-starter who is also able to take direction
• Ability to multi-task and keep up in a fast-paced environment
• Extremely organized and detail oriented, with high importance put on deliverables
• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Experience in the Wireless Industry is a plus
• Bilingual a plus (Spanish and English)
• Excellent verbal and written skills (English and Spanish a plus)
• Familarity with target markets (Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, El Paso, San Antonio, Houston, Miami) a plus
