The Role

BuzzFeed Branded Video is looking for a resourceful Travel Coordinator to bring their production and organizational skills to the LA Office. We are looking for a smart, skilled, passionate self-starter that can work seamlessly within the Branded Video team to assist with all travel and location needs. This is a fixed term position based in Los Angeles.

You Will
• Staying informed and up to date on permitting and best travel practices countrywide
• Staying up-to-date on CDC guidelines
• Ability to oversee many projects simultaneously
• Support Supervising Producer and handle assigned tasks and responsibilities
• Vet and provide production feedback for shoots that expect travel outside of LA and NY
• Work with producer to prepare production for travel
• Help source and book freelance production crews
• Research, source and negotiate rates for shoot locations and studios
• Coordinate and help book production travel and accommodations
• Collaborate to develop and improve upon production resources, processes, and responsibilities
• Coordinating and tracking the retrieval of location releases and materials releases

You Have
• Must have 3 years of production experience
• Impeccable time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize projects with sensitive deadlines
• Ability to work in high pressure, fast paced production environment
• Knowledge of Production and Operations best practices
• Ability to adapt to last-minute changes in schedules/plans
• Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously across multiple teams and projects.
• Experience sourcing and hiring freelancers
• Willingness to learn production management software/tools/databases
