The Role

The ideal candidate is a self-starter and passionate about driving innovation in the digital media and ecommerce space. We're looking for a candidate who is ready to fully immerse themselves in the client's business and who is willing to act as an internal advocate for delivering and exceeding client goals.

You Will
• Serve as the main point of contact for key strategic commerce accounts, by supporting existing partnership commitments, and developing new solutions that drive business growth for both BuzzFeed and key partners
• Partner cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to execute on new strategic initiatives and motivate internal team to innovate based on evolving partner demands
• Support team on ideation of creative solutions for RFPs on strategic accounts and help develop the proposal narrative and strategy (as well as present those ideas to the client)
• Drive key decisions with inputs from multiple account stakeholders
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities
• Establish and report out on partnership success metrics, as well as evolve partnership to deliver on those metrics
• Responsible for growing YoY investment of key accounts
• Constantly stay up to date on media trends and opportunities that could optimize and expand the partnership and BuzzFeed's commerce business

You Have
• 3-5 years experience in business development, account strategy, account management, product marketing, or ecommerce
• Proactive problem solver who can own a project from end-to-end
• Strong critical-thinking skills
• Strong operational and organizational skills, as we manage many projects for our clients at any given time
• Ability to utilize data driven decisions to solve complex problems
• Experience in a client-facing role
• Excellent presentation, writing and verbal communication skills
• Resourceful self-starter with a collaborative spirit who can adapt quickly and manage multiple stakeholders at a given time
• An entrepreneurial spirit with a bias toward action
• Obsession with all things commerce, innovation, media, and retail.
