Requirements:
Role & Responsibilities
• Works closely with the Producer and other departments to evaluate virtual production needs for show and coordinates available resources to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
• Organize and help coordinate between departments any specific shoot requirements
• Coordinate with production team and supervisors to ensure asset readiness for Mocap retargeting
• Understanding
of 3D assets including Virtual environments and how it affects shoot strategies
• Able to track and deliver VCAM renders to Editorial
• Work closely with Staging team for planning and scheduling VCAM teams assignments
• Track and address notes and other requests from Editorial
• Ensures team members are clear on deliverables and schedules by creating and publishing shoot schedule/call sheets
• Oversees communication across multiple departments, records internal as well as Director notes, and assists with supervision of sessions
• Update shot turnovers as well as Editorial provided EDL's in Shotgrid and alert subsequent teams of shot status
• Monitor and review all ingests
• Coordinate with Finishing team to ensure no discrepancies or issues with rendering
• Track and assist execution of relevant tools for the team. Communicate challenges and any available workarounds for process improvements as well as to pipeline team for additional support
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a VFX studio is required
• Proactive and able to work under own initiative
• Confident clear communicator
• Good
organizational skills
• Professional and friendly manner
• Solid work ethic and positive attitude
• Interest in production management
• Knowledge
of Microsoft Word, Excel
• Knowledge
of Shotgun, Photoshop and basic graphic design a plus
