Focused on the strategic development, production and financing of original live-action and animated features, television and digital media content, BRON has been instrumental in more than 90 productions and has built a robust slate of upcoming projects across all platforms.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Post Production Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team! This is a full-time, permanent position.

Requirements:

Role & Responsibilities

Post Production Accounts Payable:
• Match invoices to purchase orders & audit the information for discrepancies;
• Code invoices per purchase orders and/or production budgets;
• Data entry of all invoices and purchase orders, including revisions as dictated by the Post Production Accountant(s);
• Push A/P invoices and POs through the appropriate approval chain(s);
• Coordinate signatures on checks, wires, or other, as directed by the Accountant(s);
• File & scan A/P backup as document hard copy and/or digital software copy;
• Maintain organization of the BRON file room, and also the department's virtual (electronic) files;
• Follow strict department procedures regarding work flow and file naming conventions, and assist Accountants in doing the same;
• Prepare and maintain petty cash floats and per diem needs for a small number of post production crew;
• Complete and submit credit applications to new post production vendors.

Post Production Payroll:
• File & scan Payroll backup as document hard copy and digital software copy.

Cost Reports & Trial Balances:
• File & scan all project reports as document hard copy and digital software copy;
• If needed, assist with journal entry data entry;
• If needed, assist with bank reconciliations.

Qualifications
• Associates degree in accounting or minimum 1 year of experience in related field preferred
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Advanced working knowledge of spreadsheets on Microsoft Excel
• Fast and accurate alpha and numeric data entry
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
