Human Resources Administrator (Canada Summer Jobs Program)

ABOUT THE JOB

BRON is a worldwide media and entertainment company committed to furthering the art and craft of meaningful commercial storytelling. Focused on the strategic development, production and financing of original live-action and animated features, television and digital media content, BRON has been instrumental in more than 90 productions and has built a robust slate of upcoming projects across all platforms.

We are seeking a Human Resources Administrator to join our team for a period of 7 weeks, with the possibility of an extension upon conclusion of the Canada Summer Jobs Program. The HR Administrator is a central member of the HR team. This is a dynamic role ideal for a motivated individual who is meticulously organized, service oriented, technology and system savvy, and has a keen interest in working with in a supportive capacity.

Duration: ASAP - (7 weeks)
Employment Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Compensation: CAD $15.65 per hour

This opportunity is available under the Canada Summer Job program. For that reason, eligible candidates must be:
• Between 15-30 years old
• Either a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident (international students are not eligible)

Requirements:

Role & Responsibilities
• Assist with updating HR systems to track new hires, employment changes, and terminations
• Assist with ensuring all new hire documents are complete and processed accordingly and timely
• Assist with maintaining accuracy of all HR data systems
• Perform audits of all HR data systems as needed
• Create, prepare, and maintain employee files and records
• Enroll training courses and maintain records of employees trainings
• Act as the key liaison between Recruitment, HR and Payroll
• Respond to employees' general queries about HR-related issues
• Ensure all employee documentation are completed and accurately processed
• Produce, update, and maintain regular HR reports
• Assist with benefits administration for enrollments, changes, and/or terminations
• Support the recruitment process as needed
• Perform other administrative and HR duties as required

Qualifications
• Post secondary education in Human Resources or related field is an asset
• Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize, manage time, meet deadlines, multi-task, while working in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated understanding of maintaining privacy and confidentiality while working with sensitive information
• Technology and systems savvy
• Proficient use of Excel, Outlook, Word and Power Point
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Self-directed, with the ability to work independently
• Ability to work effectively in both an office environment and a work from home environment
