Job Duties
• Join BRON's Interactive game development team on the ground floor, and contribute your ideas to help shape our games
• Creates high-quality and optimized 3D Characters for BRON's first video game.
• Ensure high fidelity of modeling quality and optimization based on concepts and instructions from core team members
• Work closely with concept and design artists, character riggers, animators, and other 3D artists.
• Collaborate with prototypers and engineers
• Utilize existing 3D models designed for Television and help establish a pipeline to make those same assets game-ready
• Help to collaborate and problem solve any technical limitations and issues using creative and efficient solutions.
• Proactively schedule own time as necessary, notify Leads in advance of upcoming roadblocks and challenges
• Contribute and help build a positive team environment
Requirements:
Qualifications
• A strong 3D design portfolio
• 3+ years of experience in a modeling role with at least 1 shipped game title
• Clear demonstration of high-quality modeling and optimizing for real-time
• Proficient in Maya, ZBrush, Photoshop, and Substance Painter or other projection based texturing software
• Expertise in the Unreal Engine 4+ Character Setup
• Knowledge of Unreal Engine lighting and rendering
• Demonstrable experience with PBR texture creation and material setup for real-time rendering workflows
• Experience with the game art asset pipelines
• Strong proficiency in written and verbal communication and excels in working within a team environment
• Ability to complete tasks within production schedules and deadlines in an organized manner
• Ability to learn and adapt to new workflows and methods and cater to various artistic styles
