ABOUT THE ROLE

Become a part of a leading film production company as an Assistant for BRON Studios USA Inc. Located in Los Angeles, California the individual will organize and manage the continuous flow of the Senior Vice President, Business Affairs. The ideal candidate we're seeking would possess the desire to gain exposure to the business and legal aspects of the entertainment industry and has a passion for keeping things organized.

Requirements:

Role & Responsibilities
• Conduct phone duties, which include but not limited to: fielding incoming calls, transferring calls, taking messages, scheduling conference calls, arranging meetings etc.
• Manage and update calendars on a regular basis for Senior Vice President, Business Affairs.
• Schedule and organize meetings through necessary audio and video services.
• Conduct and consolidate information research into digestible reports for the Senior Vice President, Business Affairs.
• Forward corporate mail and any correspondence from LA office to relevant office and maintain consistent communication between BRON's multiple offices (Burnaby, Los Angeles, Toronto and New York).
• Prepare and draft deal memos, for SVP, Business Affairs review/edit.
• Manage weekly expense report reconciliations.
• File, download and sort incoming e-documents.
• Book travel arrangements and proactively check on cancellations or delays to ensure alternate arrangements are made.
• Work closely with other Assistants in BRON's multiple offices.

Qualifications
• A minimum of 1-year legal office or motion-picture industry experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to quickly learn new software tools.
• A proven ability to work in a team, but also to be self-directed and take initiative to accomplish personal goals.
• Exceptional attention to detail to maintain credibility and effective working relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
