Job Description
Provide support for various aspects within Digital Licensing Operations. Act as the initial point of contact for incoming inquiries for new sales and customer support for existing licensees. This role will also assist the entire department with various daily administrative duties specific to Digital Licensing including research, document management, system/account updates, and overall departmental efficiencies.

FUNCTIONS of THE JOB
• Assist existing customers with typical administrative inquires, via phone and email, such as: online password setups and maintenance, invoice requests, taking payments, general account questions, etc.
• Assist new customers with a variety of issues, such as: responding to questions from our online portal and our designated department email inbox, answer phone calls, set up new leads and accounts & create access for online licensing, escalate matters to proper team member(s), etc.
• Handle various research projects related to market research, prospective licensees, lead validation, existing licensees, the use of BMI repertoire, and any other ad-hoc research that may be needed.
• Assist in department reporting and payment compliance efforts for low to mid-tier accounts via manual or automated email communication management.
• Assist in managing sales case load with outreach efforts to effectively communicate BMI's position to prospects.
• Various office administration duties such as: document preparation/management/imaging, CRM system maintenance and integrity, meeting notes, presentation preparations, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Regular attendance.

. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience:
• Customer service/telephone experience required. Minimum one (1) year experience in an office environment. Industry-related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of the Digital media sector as evidenced by a strong command of the current leading companies, trends of music use, and able to articulate the user experience and preferences.
• Technical understanding of digital streaming platforms.
• Knowledge of copyright law is preferred.
