Job Description
As Manager of Product, you will be responsible for supporting Call of Duty Esports on product strategy in several areas. This leader will be expected to act as a key liaison between Esports and the broader franchise and studio units. You will oversee the development, management and launch of our digital goods program - encompassing digital products that are either commercialized (e.g., bundles) or offered as viewership incentives to COD Esports fans. In forging strong relationships with the studio units, this leader is also expected to track the development of in-game and competitive features for COD Esports.
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
• Oversee different aspects of digital goods creation process including asset ideation, brief creation, production work back scheduling and other asset delivery
• Work with studios on development support needed for in-game and competitive features across the Call of Duty League, Warzone and Mobile esport programs
• Work across both studios and game/product teams as well as partnering with relevant technical leaders to ensure COD development efforts build towards a mission to drive COD Esports engagement and monetization
• Lead brainstorm sessions on creative concepts and branding of various COD Esports products
• Provide input on general product structures (competition format, calendar, etc.)
Player Profile
Experience
• 4+ years of experience in a product role at a digital media organization, ideally in the sports or gaming space
• Strong ability to create and track product roadmaps
• Interest and knowledge of gaming space
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Plus:
• Knowledge of the Call of Duty League, its Teams Franchises and COD Esports culture
• Experience with brand design and creation
• Experience with production at a game studio
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop
