The Job
WarnerMedia seeks a Mobile Developer for the MMLive department. The Mobile Developer is responsible for intermediate to high level mobile development duties including writing complex code, engaging in solution finding for intermediate to high-level functionality issues, and providing advanced technical application support. The ideal candidate will have intermediate-to-high level experience working within the Android and/or iOS platform and can relay how the features of either are applied within a project. Work is performed at the direction of a Senior level project developer. This position requires an ability to solve for more complex aspects of development within the project lifecycle. The most successful individual in this position will be one who can perform work with minimal supervision, taking on multiple and varying higher level aspects of project work.
The Daily
• Creation and implementation of new features
• Maintain the application code
• Resolve more complex bugs in code to restore functionality
• Document high level changes in code and communicate technical needs
• Identify, complete, and review complex portions of applications and platforms
• Interpret and apply advanced development terminology and concepts
• Interface with client about application features or build progress as needed
• Assist in preparation for final ship version of application to store
• Work closely with Senior level developer to accomplish tasks as directed
The Essentials
• 1 - 3 years of experience as a Mobile Developer
• BA/BS degree with a technology-related major or appropriate combination of education and experience
• Able to manage complex development demands
• Able to manage multiple and varied project initiatives
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong reasoning skills
• Strong prioritization skills
• Organizational skills
Additional Desirable Skills
• Experience developing in Kotlin or Swift
