The Job
The Bleacher Report Partnerships Content Strategist will bridge B/R's internal branded content unit (Playmaker) with the Editorial Programming team throughout the RFP process. This role sees each RFP as an opportunity to win for B/R and the requesting brand - carrying a solution-oriented mindset into brainstorms as well as subsequent pitches, pivots & eventual delivery of content - valuing revenue generation & engagement equally.
The Daily
• The Content Strategist works as B/R Programming's liaison in all brainstorms with Playmaker
• This person seeks to push forward ideas that ladder up to B/R voice & tone while also prioritizing sponsor brand goals
• Once pitches are fully-formed, this role brokers the process of suggested programming & finds quick/effective solutions when Playmaker & Programming teams are not aligned
• This person is the conduit to Programming when sponsor feedback leads to changes in the proposed plan
• Will ensure that branded content is programmed exactly as prescribed
• Works alongside Sr Director, Social Media Partnerships to receive constant education from platform reps on social media best practices before collaborating with Insights/Analytics to funnel recommendations to Playmaker team
• Champions diversity & seeks to bring a variety of voices & backgrounds into every brainstorm

• Strong understanding of what goes into social media programming & content creation
• Solution-oriented mindset at all times
• Experience in the RFP process
• Branded content production experience would be nice to have
• Ability to manage up and down, working closely with company leadership
• Experience collaborating with others in digital media and social media environments
• Proven leadership skills, confident in team building, mentoring and guiding talent
