The QV Development Manager and team are accountable for defining and delivering the Quality Verification project planning, requirements, and deliverables for multiple BioWare titles. You will work with partner program managers to establish schedules, establish budgets, and ensure the creation of test coverage and project metrics. You will be an embedded member of our game teams helping us to make the best games in the world.

Development Managers must possess a solid project management background. Most of your time will be focused on ensuring that project deliverables are being completed on time and within budget while maintaining BioWare's high standard of quality. Additionally, you will focus on continually improving the operational efficiency of the Quality Verification effort by assessing and iterating on development practices. You will work on department and operational level programs.

You will also spend time managing a direct staff of project leaders and mentoring/supporting junior level leadership within the department. Monitoring performance and delivering measurable feedback to direct reports is an essential function of this role. Establishing working relationships within the Quality Verification department, the project team and the outside partners are important to success in this role.

Responsibilities:
• Manage a development team which generally consists of QV Designers, Analysts, and Testers
• Work with BioWare game feature development teams to lock down requirements and specifications.
• Identify task-related processes to improve efficiency
• Provide regular status reporting and capacity plan updates.
• Track and implement project improvement plans to promote team efficiency.
• Mentor individual contributors within the project team
• You will report to the Quality Verification Manager

Skills:
• 3 years of experience in a software development environment
• 2 years Project Management or Project Lead experience
• Excellent knowledge of production life cycles and processes
• Experience in a Scrum / Agile software development environment.
