JOB DESCRIPTION

The Big Ten Network is looking for a Crewing Coordinator to join their team in Chicago, IL. As the Crewing Coordinator, you will crew remote events at assigned schools and/or MICRs directly. Additionally, you will coordinate and crew specialty events.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain knowledge of BTN/IATSE Union rules for crewing
• Maintain a low travel cost for all crew members being hired in collaboration with the Travel Coordinator
• Complete crewing events promptly and input crew information into crew grids
• Input crew grid data for assigned events and any other events into Fox Playbook/FoxPay
• Send out all sign-in sheets and alerts for all events for all markets
• Maintain database of all crew members in each market
• Organize producer/director reports for all crew complements in each market to hire the best available crew
• Ensure that proper deals are executed within the parameters of the BTN/IATSE Union rate plan
• Maintain up to date master crew compliments for each sport/event in the share drive that the department can access
• Work with Payroll to upkeep FoxPay with all up to date rates and crew members info
• Any other tasks as assigned by Crewing Supervisor

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 2+ years in television, preferably with production or operations experience
• Computer literate in MS Word and MS Excel
• Ability to create Excel reports/spreadsheets
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in group settings as well as independently
• Ability to handle long periods of time on the telephone and in front of a computer
• Ability to travel to remote events to meet with the crew
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong reasoning and logic skills
• Strong organizational skills
