Bauer Entertainment Marketing: Business Development Administrator (Part Time)

Bauer Entertainment Marketing (www.BauerEM.com), is looking for a dynamic professional to support its sales initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in pursuing a career in music, sports, entertainment, marketing, or technology.

The Business Development Administrator will have the following day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Craft detailed proposals and compose “scope of work” section within contracts

  • Organize and maintain proposals and agreement templates

  • Record and collect prospect opportunity data for use in CRM program

  • Compile reports as directed and outlined by the President

  • Scan, prospect, track, and research potential opportunities

  • May respond to and direct incoming leads for business development

  • Other tasks as BEM deems necessary

This position reports directly to the President. Work will be conducted remotely or from BEM’s workspace in East Nashville. The top candidate will be offered a minimum 3-month contract and the potential to earn full-time employment.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Communication, or a related field

  • Business, sales, or psychology-focused degrees preferred

  • Strong interest in entertainment and technology industries

  • Experience in startups and the entertainment industry are prefered, but not required

Hard Skills:

  • Expert-level written and oral communication skills

  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems

  • Able to analyze data, identify actionable takeaways, plus deliver clear and concise reports

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Products (e.g., Doc, Slides, Forms)

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervision

  • Excellent people skills for collaborating with colleagues and clients, in-person and remotely

  • Highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, efficient, and productive while simultaneously managing multiple tasks

  • Needs to be instructed only once, but not afraid to ask for clarification

  • Capacity to get work done in a fast-paced environment not confined to a typical “9-to-5” day

  • Confident, mature problem-solver and adept at anticipating opportunities. Handles objections with ease

  • Seeks, welcomes, and uses constructive criticism to learn, improve, and grow

  • Adept at anticipating needs of colleagues and prospective clients
