JOB TITLE

Coordinator, Marketing Research & Performance

Baltimore Orioles seek a Coordinator, Marketing Research & Performance, reporting to the Manager, Marketing & Advertising. The position will support the marketing and product development department to uncover brand strengths and weaknesses, identify and reveal growth opportunities to better target products, activations, marketing, and digital experience to increase efficiency and improve return on investment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Primary Responsibilities:
• Analyze and report on performance of multi-channel campaigns to identify and share recommendations, improve marketing and product development strategies, and optimize messaging
• Coordinate marketing research and performance by gathering objectives and key performance indicators
• Pull raw data from multiple platforms including in Excel, Tableau, PowerPoint, Looker, etc. to produce and communicate unbiased results
• Work with Manger, Marketing and Advertising to create fan personas, customer segmentation models, and develop automation and segmentation campaigns that help drive brand sentiment, gain a better understanding of our fanbase to drive revenue
• Test and execute simple and multi-step customer journeys by leveraging segmentation models and automation tools to drive ticket sales, lead generation and engagement
• Coordinate the club's outbound surveys including development, creation, and reporting.
• Work with Digital Experience to track and report on objectives and key performance indicators across clubs' digital properties
• Identify gaps and leverage data in decision making, especially as it pertains to driving conversion and customer lifetime value improvements
• Assist with data cleaning, entry, research, and lead generation
• Work cross-functionally with Director, Analytics to analyze sales and marketing campaign effectiveness and return on investment

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in business, marketing, or quantitative reasoning (statistics, mathematics, economics)
• 2-4 years of experience in marketing, technology, and database management
• Expertise and/or working knowledge of: Adobe Marketing Stack (Analytics, Journey Builder, Marketo), Google Analytics and Data visualization software (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc).
• Data-driven mindset, and excitement about consistently testing, measuring, iterating to better understand and reach current and prospective customers
• Strong skills in Excel, with proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
• Ability to convert and simplify large amounts of data into understandable/digestible reports
• Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be a team-first player who works well with others
