This candidate should have a deep operational knowledge of ad serving technologies, and a deep understanding on how various technology vendors work and plug into the ad tech stack. This is a position that is embedded in an evolving technical landscape so the ability to strategize and execute plans effectively is crucial to success.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee strategic direction for the ad platform in partnership with Sales and Product team
• Serve as main technical lead and SME for Advertising technologies and make consensus-based decisions on technical investments for centralized advertising technology
• Oversee cross-functional process review to define and streamline operations
• Source Ad Tech Suppliers and manage contracts
• P rovide Ad Tech troubleshooting for multiple digital, mobile, desktop and CTV/OTT platforms and ad technology providers
• Work closely with internal teams to identify and develop tools that help scale monetization efforts through automation and system monitoring processes
• Work with AdOps, Product Owners and Product Managers to identify and resolve ad tech issues resulting in loss of revenue and revenue opportunities related to those issues
• Work with app developers on new app launches to ensure that ad serving is tested and ready for implementation
• Work with app developers on post-launch ad serving tech issues resulting in revenue and ad opportunities
• Support programmatic monetization strategies
• Provide feedback in evaluation of new product partners and vendors
• Create, update, and maintain internal technical documentation
• Serve as key POC with Google around ongoing ad technology strategies

Qualifications:
• BA/BS Degree in relevant field
• 10+ years-experience in digital advertising technology and operations
• Proven experience with digital ad trafficking, campaign operations, and programmatic implementation across various streaming environments (desktop, mobile, OTT)
• Must understand concepts of programmatic media, ad serving, ad serving platforms, ad trafficking process, attribution models based on impression, click
• In-depth understanding of programmatic Ad Tech – header bidding, SSPs, DSPs, DMPs, ad exchanges, ad networks, agency trading desks
• Understanding of video encoding processes and workflows, storage, and formats
• Able to analyze and troubleshoot HTTP requests, VAST and other ad tech, or delivery issues
• Understand general web technologies used in ad codes (HTML, JavaScript, Flash, etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of ad serving solutions (Google Ad Manager preferred)
• Deep understanding of server-side ad insertion (SSAI & DAI)In-depth understanding of verification tools (Integral Ad Science, DoubleVerify, Nielsen…)
• Must be exceptionally organized, and be able to work in a fast-paced changing environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary compensation range for this role is $150,000 to $225,000 and this position is eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for Colorado and New York City based hires only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules as well as the NYC Salary Transparency Laws. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
