We are looking for a marketing executive with deep brand marketing experience to help manage and grow brand and campaign marketing efforts for Bally Sports+. This individual will build and lead a talented team that will lead efforts that drive brand awareness and consideration and cultural buzz. The team will work closely with Bally Sports Marketing and other divisions to best achieve brand goals.

As Senior Director of Marketing Technology & Automation, reporting to the VP of Growth Marketing, you will lead the charge in owning and operating a technology stack to support the targeting, optimization, and measurement of our media across Brand, Acquisition, and Lifecycle. You will work closely with stakeholders across marketing, product, analytics, data, and legal to arrive at comprehensive requirement specs before vetting and implementing potential solutions. Success in this role requires a combination of vision, implementation, and support against a backdrop of effective communication to educate and synthesize the needs of stakeholders.

Bally Sports+ - Senior Director, Marketing Technology and Automation
• Oversee the Marketing Technology function with the goal of building a best-in-class technology stack to enable and optimize subscriber growth
• Conduct customer interviews with Marketing stakeholders to understand needs and use cases at a detailed level
• Serve as a subject matter expert, provide internal training, onboarding, & share functional knowledge related to day-to-day management of various marketing technology platforms
• Own third party technology vendor relationships to ensure SLAs are being met and feature roadmaps align to business needs
• Develop and continue documentation on 3rd party platforms and integrations
• Maintain current knowledge of MarTech, AdTech, legal regulations, and general technology trends; translate them into POVs (thought leadership) for Marketing, and devise ways to assimilate trends internally
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Legal, and Analytics to proactively outline requirements for future initiatives and drive execution across stakeholders
• Possess the ability to manage a Marketing Technology team if future business needs require dedicated channel-level contacts

Requirements
• 10+ years of experience MarTech/AdTech experience (preferably in DTC media)
• Domain expertise and hands-on experience with MarTech, AdTech, CRM, CDP/DMP, and Analytics tools
• Enterprise-level data orchestration experience
• Demonstrated experience in Build versus Buy decision making
• Familiarity with major media buying platforms across verticals and their respective APIs (Social, Search, Programmatic, Affiliate, Native, Email, Push, etc.)
• Practical knowledge of Experimentation, A/B Testing, and Lift Measurement
• Data-driven and entrepreneurial problem-solver comfortable with ambiguity
• Experience in working with marketers, marketing operations, data scientists, and data analysts, product managers, legal
• Results-oriented leadership with humility, empathy, responsiveness, collaboration, and consensus-building
• Cross-functional team leader with experience working in enterprise and matrixed environments

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $175,000 to $185,000 and this position is eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for Colorado and New York City based hires only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules as well as the NYC Salary Transparency Laws. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
