Job Description
This position will have job responsibilities that focus on the creation and maintenance of the Bally Sports Southwest programming schedule. Duties will include the creation of a strong, error-free and philosophically sound programming schedule. This role will work to secure strategic partners to deliver content and programming that resonates with viewers, garners high ratings and provides value to MSOs and Direct-to-Consumer platform. They will serve as a liaison with each team partner and work closely with them regarding team game schedules and ancillary programming and content. They will manage the day-to-day relationships and logistics involved with the master control facility, Encompass Digital Media, as well as each third party show supplier. This role will oversee all programming information being inputted into Wide Orbit Programming and SWATR and manage the systems appropriately. Finally, this position will prepare research using Nielsen ratings and data metrics surrounding various linear and digital programming both from a historical and projection standpoint to help aid ad sales and guide management decisions.

Responsibilities:
• Manages the detailed scheduling of all programs on the 24/7 Bally Sports Southwest programming schedule.
Oversees the Programming Coordinator to handle all changes and updates that must be made to the schedule on a daily basis. Manages the day-to-day logistics involved with each of the various programming sources, which includes netbase priorities, sister RSN programming, in-house productions and third party suppliers.
• Solicit and negotiate cash/barter programming from third party suppliers with the goal of providing value to the MSOs and Direct-to-Consumer platform. Also, identify opportunities through programming that generate revenue and sales opportunities. Includes submitting all contractual paperwork to legal, quality control, follow-up on payments, and relationship building to ensure renewals.
• Liaise with master control facility, Encompass Digital Media, to ensure programming airs correctly, alternate transponders are available and booked, feed switch schedules are accurate, closed-caption requirements are met, and programming contingencies are scheduled and understood.
• Oversees distribution of key programming information and reports to, multiple departments and management, including various programming schedules, show formats, billing info, supplier spots, traffic info, etc.
• Prepare programming research related to both linear and digital platforms with the goal of aiding ad sales revenue generation and help guide management decisions.
Other Skills / Requirements
• A strong overall understanding of the television business, including knowledge of the cable industry and sports is required.
• Good organizational and project management skills are necessary.
• The ability to multitask and work effectively under daily time constraints in a high pressure environment is essential.
• Working knowledge of Wide Orbit Programming is a plus.

Education / Experience
• This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or a related area.
• A minimum of 4-6 years network television and/or media scheduling experience is also required.
• Master's degree preferred.
