Programming Coordinator

Job Description

Bally Sports Southwest is looking for a Programming Coordinator to join the team! This position has critical responsibilities in the Programming department of Bally Sports Southwest. Programming responsibilities include creating and maintaining the regional sports network programming schedule; communicating contingency plans; managing market blackout schedules; managing music cue sheets; cultivating strong relationships with 3rd party suppliers; weekly/daily communication with 3rd party suppliers to verify shows arrive on time and issue free; and serving as a liaison to internal departments, national programming office, Master Control, Nielsen, and TV listings services on a daily basis.

Essential Functions:
• Program Schedule / Data Management – accurately input and maintain all program schedules into Wide Orbit Program, Excel, and Nielsen's E-Names databases.
• Market Switching Schedules – ensure professional product is being distributed to the correct team territories
• Contingency Planning - provide Master Control with contingency plans; ensure proper execution
• Music Cue Sheets – ensure proper submission of internal and external cue sheets
• Communication - effectively communicate programming information, changes, etc. to all internal departments, Master Control, Nielsen, TV listings services and 3rd party suppliers
• 3rd party suppliers – serve as intermediary between media services and program suppliers when there are issues with shows
• Research – Assist Programming Manager with ratings research and trends related to programming. Track program ratings to create summaries and reports for internal distribution

Education / Experience – This position requires a Bachelor's degree. 1-2 years of work experience and knowledge of Bally Sports Southwest regional-based professional teams is preferred.

Language / Communication – Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required. Must effectively communicate programming information, changes, etc. to all internal departments, Master Control, Nielsen, and TV listings services.
Other Skills / Requirements – Superior attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize are needed.
