Production Administrator

Job Description

Bally Sports Florida and Sun is looking for a Production Administrator! This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Operations in coordinating sporting events for the Miami Heat, Florida Panthers, and Miami Marlins on Bally Sports Sun and Florida. Coordinates assigned events (communicates with mobile truck vendors, crewers, facilities, broadcast partners and production personnel). Creates Production Information Books for every Heat, Panthers and Marlins game that contain all relevant operations information including truck, crew and production team contacts, technical requirements, transmission, and facility information. Checks in with Production teams at assigned remote events and acts as the daily office contact for production and technical personnel working at remote sites and, serves as an on-site Operations contact for live events when needed. Assists with equipment organization and shipping between broadcast locations. Requests credentials for the Miami Heat, Florida Panthers, and Miami Marlins. Makes travel arrangements for above and below-the-line personnel. Participates in associated meetings and conference calls.

Essential Functions:
• Coordinates assigned events by communicating with mobile truck vendors, crew contacts, facilities, broadcast partners and production personnel.
• Creates Production Information Books for the Miami Heat, Florida Panthers and Miami Marlins that contain all relevant operations information including truck, crew, production team contacts, technical requirements, transmission, and facility information.
• Checks in with Production teams at assigned remote events and acts as the daily office contact for production and technical personnel working at remote sites.
• Serves as on-site Operations contact for live events when needed.
• Assists with equipment organization and shipping between broadcast locations.
• Manages load-in and strike days at the beginning and end of each team season, including coordinating and organizing gear for teams and venues, maintaining equipment.
• Makes travel arrangements for above and below-the-line personnel
• Requests credentials for the Miami Heat, Florida Panthers, and Miami Marlins

Qualifications and Experience:
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred
• A minimum of 2-3 years previous broadcast production, in particular remote event experience is preferred
• Must have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic math skills are required
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting and project coordination skills are required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook and Adobe Acrobat is required
• Ability to work flexible hours– including nights and weekends at times - is also necessary
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively and accurately in a fast-paced environment is essential
• Works self-sufficiently and is independently motivated
• Good interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work as a member of a team are necessary
• Knowledge of remote production technical equipment is a plus
• Occasional lifting of equipment (up to 50 pounds)
