Job Description
Bally Sports Southwest is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our fast-paced operations department. The Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Operations Manager in coordinating facilities and remote trucks for live sporting events, including the NBA, NHL, and MLB. You are our direct line of communication with our teams to manage and plan each assigned remote event. Your responsibilities will include planning and communicating all essential broadcast information leading up to and during the event. You will collaborate with show producers, directors, crewing, travel, production vendors, and teams to execute Network events.

Duties include conducting site surveys, arranging equipment rentals, coordinating equipment shipping, and submitting credential lists for events. The Operations Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining relationships with team partners to ensure their needs are met in association with the region's broadcasts. This position will also require occasional work during evenings and on weekends.

Responsibilities
• The Operations Coordinator will work closely with the production and crewing department, road and visiting production groups, team Tech Managers, and vendors to gather all the necessary information to create and update production books for each live remote event.
* Work hand in hand with our Studio Manager on studio operation and upkeep.
• Submit credentials requests as needed
• Contact for Producers, Directors, Engineers, and Talent working at remote sites.
• Coordinating shipping and receiving of technical equipment
• Overseeing and updating production event books for live remote events and studio shows (redundant)
• Gathering information from operations departments of opposing teams and their broadcast operations partners
• Disseminating remote event information such as tech books, crew lists, call times, and parking information
• Creates and updates various department spreadsheets in MS Excel and maintains shared documents via Google Sheets and Microsoft SharePoint
• Data entry for employee timecards in XLT Payroll Management software for event payroll
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment or special requests for remote events
* Back up for booking travel for freelancers.

Qualifications
• 4-year degree required, in Communications, Broadcasting or Radio/TV/Film, or equivalent work experience.
* Minimum 2 years experience in live event and/or news production and technical operations.
* Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
• A demonstrated ability to work without supervision in a high-pressure environment is essential
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work as a member of a team are necessary
• Knowledge of remote production and technical equipment is a plus.
* Ability to communicate technical issues and remain calm under pressure is essential
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams is required
• Occasionally required to bend and lift up to 45 pounds
• May be required to occasionally work nights and/or weekends
* Must be able to drive a car.
