Job Description
Bally Sports West/SoCal/San Diego is looking for an experienced Manager of Partnerships. This position within the Ad Sales group is primarily responsible for managing and overseeing the execution of sold elements, and the development of strategic sales proposals and pitches. This position plays an important role in business development for the department and key liaison between network team partners. This role works alongside and reports into the Director of Partnerships & Activation, and helps to lead the Activation group's Client Service Coordinators.

Responsibilities:
- Work together with the Director, Partnerships & Activation, and Client Service Coordinators to activate all sold elements
- Liase with Team partners to ensure that all contractual obligations are met
- Help manage creative projects with internal Production & freelance staff to achieve best results for advertisers
- Lead in the creation of proposals and for incoming RFPs by creating media plans to meet advertiser and category objectives
- Help build presentations which address client needs while highlighting the value and capabilities of the network (both linear & digital)
- Support Digital Sales Manager with new business initiatives, identifying opportunities & prospects in the market
- Work with Client Service Coordinators on media plans and schedule units based on inventory avails
- Work closely with the Traffic Department to oversee preemptions and programming changes - recommend schedules according to availability, generate flow charts to reflect all changes, cancellation options and expansion options
- Help train Client Service Coordinators on best practices, systems, and protocols
- Respond to Sales requests about inventory, ad products, creative specifications, and research
- Help lead & plan off-site client events & hospitality opportunities to strengthen relationships with team partners, agencies, and advertiser partners
- Pull Sales reports, clips, and other materials to merchandise successes to advertising & team partners
- Assist in the coordination of sales marketing materials
- Complete additional projects as directed by Ad Sales Management & Finance group

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5 years related experience in media sales, marketing, or project management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet research
- Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to multi-task and handle projects independently, as well as part of a team
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail & motivation to take initiative
- Knowledge of media math and audience metrics
- Previous experience in television production and/or sales, including a working knowledge of television sales/ratings is preferred
